A representative will reach out to verify your eligibility to participate in the CDPAP program. This process ensures that you meet the requirements to work as a personal assistant (PA) under the program. The CDPAP program allows patients to select their own caregiver, which can include family members with the exception of spouses and legal guardians.
Once your eligibility has been verified, you will receive a link to complete the application. You will be asked to provide basic information such as your name, contact details, and other relevant information
As part of your onboarding process, you are eligible to complete your required medical exams free of charge. We highly recommend taking advantage of this service to ensure a smooth and convenient application process.Â
 Upon submission of all required documents, you will receive a link to complete orientation (1 hour and 30 min long).
After fulfilling all the necessary steps, you will be asked to electronically sign your completed application
A final review will be conducted to ensure all submitted documents meet the necessary requirements, and nothing has been overlooked. This step helps minimize potential future issues.

Once you have been activated and began working, Rockaway Home Care will need to verify your submitted I-9 documents through a video call within three days of your start date. It is essential to have your original documents ready during the video call, as required by the Department of Labor.
