Did You Know You Can Get Paid to Care for a Family Member or Friend?
If your loved one needs help at home, you may be eligible to become their paid caregiver — as long as they are not your parent, spouse, child, child-in-law, or step-parent.

*Parent, spouse, child, child-in-law, or step parents. and designated representatives are not eligible to be your caregiver.

Do I qualify?

You qualify as long as you meet the following criteria: Must be eligible for Medicaid, Must require assistance with activities of daily living.

How long does It take to be approved?

Typically it will take between two weeks to two months, depending on how quickly your insurance sends approval.

Do you work with languages besides English?

Yes, Our Staff speak English, Spanish, Creole, and a variety of other languages!

Do I have to pay for this program?

Nope! because this program is Medicaid-funded; you wont have to pay anything.

Can I be a caregiver for my Family Member?

Yes! as long as they have Medicaid and live in New York.
